                              Fencing

  • Between the barn and the hay shed there are 5 pens of different sizes all
    with heated underground waterers.  
  • The fencing is 9 ft solid board built with 1’ by 6’ on a 2’ by 6’ frame
    supported with 14 ft treated posts.  
  • Each pen has two steel gates with a man gate built in for easy access with
    out opening the big gates.
  • Around the hay shed there are two large feed lots with heated waterers.  
  • There are 10 steel gates in these pens for easy of movement and sorting.
  • Most of the south pen has sand for footing and would make a good roping
    or cutting or jumping outdoor arena.
  • There are two four strand high tensile paddocks one with a heated waterer
    and one with access to water.

                       The drainage and dike system

  • The dike surrounds the property that consists of plus or minus 37acres.
  • The drainage is supplied by culverts through the dike where there are
    existing ditches.
  • The dike runs along three sides with PR 246 as the forth side.   
  • The north dike has two large steel gates for security.  
  • Most of the dike is fenced and is used for pasture.
  • The yard has a circular driveway that comes to the house or continues
    back to the shop.
  • The driveway is constructed to be able to bring in loaded semi trailers with
    hay or cattle.
  • The driveway was redone with ¾ down limestone in 2006
